The Spanish boss had hinted earlier this week that he was considering an early retirement, but he seems to be having second thoughts about it.

Manchester City's boss Pep Guardiola decided to step up and clarify his recent comments about an early retirement.

The coach from Santpedor was apparently misunderstood when he said his coaching days were close to an end. Before his current employers complained about his statements, Guardiola decided to set the record straight and denied he will be putting an end to his illustrious coaching career soon.

Guardiola's comments from earlier this week had some of his colleagues commenting about his future. In fact, coach Fabio Capello stated that Pep's retirement plans involved becoming Barcelona's president soon. Luckily for those who are fond of his coaching style, that day won't be coming soon.
