The Chilean midfielder was linked to Arsenal and Manchester United a couple of years ago, before he decided to leave Juventus to play for Bayern Munich.

Antonio Conte wants one of his best "students" to join him at Chelsea, and he's preparing a massive bid to have him around.

Reports by ESPN and Italian newspapers claim that the current EPL leaders will try to lure "The King" Arturo Vidal away to Stamford Bridge. The Chilean ace flourished under Conte while playing for Juventus, and despite his well documented problems away from the pitch, Conte has asked the team's front office to spend 50 million euros to accomplish Vidal's signing.

Vidal has been in scintillating form for both club and country, winning his first Bundesliga title last season under Pep Guardiola. Furthermore, he's added two Copa América titles to his resume, being instrumental for La Roja during both tournaments.

The midfielder also earned one more award back home for his excellent year.

It remains to be seen if Bayern Munich agrees to such a transfer, but the notion of cashing in for Vidal's sale would be interesting. Bayern paid 35 million euros for Vidal's transfer two years ago, but it will all be up to Carlo Ancelotti, who won't be too willing to part ways with one of his key footballers.
