The Spanish giants failed to reach the KO Stage of the UEFA Champions League as group winners for the first time since the 2012-2013 season.

Real Madrid could have cause for celebration after finishing second in their UEFA Champions League group, as their opponents in the next round could give them a chance to shine.

Los Blancos failed to win their group for the first time since the 2012-2013 season, a year in which they also shared group with Borussia Dortmund. But in the end, things could work out for Zizou's crew just fine.

Considering that they can't face Atlético Madrid, Barcelona or Borussia Dortmund, the toughest opponent Los Blancos could face would be Juventus. Otherwise, all of their possible opponents could give them a chance to keep fighting for "La Duodécima".

Given their recent luck in the tournament, there are some Barcelona fans who can already imagine what Monday's draw will look like for both Spanish giants.
