The striker's own children were in charge of handing him the award. Busquets, Messi and Iniesta joined him in the ceremony.

In what ended up being a heart-warming ceremony for the South American striker, Luis Suárez picked up the 2015-2016 Golden Shoe, a trophy he won after scoring 40 goals in La Liga.

Visibly moved after watching a video where his close ones shared their views on the striker, Suárez dedicated the award to his team-mates.

"Thanks to my team-mates for always being there for me. This trophy belongs to them as well, even though they troll me for missing clear chances and scoring the more difficult ones," Suárez jokingly answered.

Suárez dedicated some words for his friends in the MSN attack. The Uruguayan wished either of them picks up the trophy next year, if he's not able to win it two years in a row.

"If I'm not here next year, I hope Leo or Neymar pick it up. They make things a lot easier for me," Suárez added.

When asked about which goals were the most special for him, Suárez didn't hesitate and took a jibe at Barcelona's eternal rival, Real Madrid.

"The brace I scored at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium will always be in my heart," the striker concluded.
