Match forecast

Dortmund come into this match with a long list of injury-stricken players. The likes of Marco Reus, Lukasz Piszczek, Andrian Ramos, Andre Schurrle, Sokratis, Neven Subotic and Erik Durm are all doubtful for this clash. On the other hand, Hertha could be without Ondrej Duda, Vladimir Daria, Peterr Pekarik, Fabian Lustenberger and Nils-Jonathan Koerber. Thomas Tuchel, basically, should be more concerned ahead of this match due to a higher number of injuries involving a couple of key players compared to the visitors, who have only four serious injuries.

For the Yellow and Blacks, there is some good news – Marc Bartra could return to replace Sokratis, while Felix Passlack could replace Lukasz Piszczek. Sebastian Rode and Mario Gotze should also start to fill in the gap left by Gonzalo Castro and Raphael Guerreiro at the center of the park. On Hertha’s side, Mitchell Weiser is expected to come in to replace Peter Pekarik, while Niklas Stark could replace Fabian Lustenberger at the midfield.

The German giants fell to Bayer Luverkusen before the international break and would want to bounce back positively against Hertha, who are one spot ahead of them. But having conceded three goals in each of their away trips to Bayern Munich and Frankfurt, the visitors need to sort their defence before their trip to Dortmund. Otherwise, if that does not happen, then you can could on Thomas Tuchel’s men to tear the Blue-Whites apart.
