Barcelona superstar Luis Suarez could have his fine form in front of goal rewarded this season, according to Spanish media.

The La Liga giants are looking into the possibility of pinning him at the Nou Camp until 2020. If the ex-Liverpool star agrees to the deal, he will be paid the same salary as his teammate Neymar, which is approximately £272,000 a week. 

Spanish publication Sport reports that the deal could be finalized before Christmas. The world’s most lethal number 9 currently earns approximately £170,000 a week at Barca. 

The 29-year-old joined the Catalan giants in 2014 from Premier League outfit Liverpool. He has since established himself as a crucial member of the famous MSN striking trio that includes Neymar and Messi as his two partners in crime.

At Barca, he has scored an impressive 61 goals in 69 La Liga appearances since his move from Anfield. His impressive performances for Luis Enrique’s men has also been accompanied by a collection of trophies which include two league titles, two Copa del Reys, one Spanish Super Cup, one UEFA Champions League, one UEFA Super Cup and one FIFA Club World Cup.
