The Italian ace managed to assist his team-mates three times against Romanian club Astra, during their 4-0 blowout at Stadio Olimpico. Kevin Strootman, Federico Fazio and Mohamed Salah scored for Roma, adding to their tally an own goal by Fabricio.
The midfielder could have been handed a fourth assist today, considering that Federico Fazio's goal came after the Romanian goalie wasn't able to clear a free kick by the Italian maestro.
Totti has repeatedly proven wrong most of his critics, while forcing his manager Luciano Spalletti to give him a more influential role. Totti has scored 99 goals under Spalletti, and has been widely involved in several of the team's scoring efforts.
