Marco Asensio stole the headlines during the first half of the UEFA Super Cup after drilling a left-footed shot into the top right-hand corner of Rico's net to give Los Blancos the lead.

Asensio wasn't expected to start, but coach Zinedine Zidane included him in the starting lineup and ended up dazzling fans around the world with his brilliant finish.

The 20-year old midfielder became the youngest player to score a goal in a European final for Real Madrid, surpassing legends such as Raul, Michel and Morientes.
