The wait is finally over. Pep Guardiola is truly a Citizen. Fresh from his family vacation in Ibiza, the ex-Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss has arrived at the blue side of the city of Manchester.
As the club announced on its Twitter timeline, "a new manager, a new kit, a new badge." Not at the venue to enjoy this moment? Check out our compilation of the best live pictures and vines. But before, live or relive footage of his first walk on the big stage before his Periscope interview:

Pep Guardiola's first statements:
"Thank you to Manchester City for giving me this opportunity. I am pretty sure we are going to enjoy.
"I proved myself in Catalonia and in Germany now I want to make Manchester City people proud of how we play.
"We will create a team spirit. After that we will think about tactics. I want to create something special.
"I know the players, their quality. They have to show me. The fans don't come here to remember what we did in the past.
"I have to know my players. Hug them - kick their a***! One of my dreams was to play here as a footballer. Now my dream has come true."
Pep rips off a list of top managers in #ENG and skips the one we know he would - Mou. Battle lines drawn.
