Dani Alves has officially penned a two-year contract with Italian club Juventus.

The former Blaugrana has departed Camp Nou on a high note, bagging 23 trophies in just eight years.

The Brazilian full-back underwent a medical on Monday morning in Turin and was then greeted by hundreds of Zebre supporters.

Following Brazil’s Copa America opener against Ecuador, Dani Alves revealed in the post-match press conference that he got 'too comfortable' with the double-winning Spanish giants.

“I think people need to leave their comfort zone. That’s why now I am leaving a comfortable position.

“Barca is an incredible club, but there I was in too comfortable a position. I’m a person that when they feel comfortable, it means that something is going wrong.

“What moves me are challenges and the battle to make history somewhere else.

“I hope things can continue in the same way, just in a different place.”

Alves, who has agreed to a two-year contract earning around 3.5 million euros as a net annual salary, has become the Serie A champions' third signing for the upcoming 2016/2017 campaign.
