Luis Suarez could not hold back his tears when he was ruled out of the remaining minutes of the Copa del Rey final against Sevilla.

Barcelona’s Luis Suarez was substituted in the 64th minute of the Copa del Rey final against Sevilla due to what appeared to be a hamstring injury. Prior to the injury, the Uruguay international had leaped into the air to collect the ball, but appeared to have overstretched his muscles.

After being ruled out of the rest of the game, the 29-year-old broke down into tears as the club’s medics assisted him off the pitch.

Quite understandably, by virtue of being Barcelona’s top scorer this season, the ex-Liverpool man was hoping to find the back of the next for the Spanish giants in what had proven to be a tightly-contested match but he did not last on the pitch a full 90 minutes.
