Fernando Torres touched the sky and was brought back to Earth in just ten minutes. The Spanish striker put Atlético ahead of Barcelona during the first leg of their UCL showdown, but a couple of red cards in just six minutes had Los Colchoneros' fans infuriated with their legendary player.
Torres put the ball into the back of the net after 25 minutes, increasing his goal scoring tally against Los Blaugranas at Camp Nou Stadium. His strike made him the third player ever to score a goal facing Barcelona with two different clubs, following Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Andriy Shevchenko. He also became the only player to score two goals against Barça in two different KO stages in the UEFA Champions League.
Nevertheless, his goal scoring skills were overshadowed by his two yellow cards in five minutes. Here's the foul that got him sent off (Geo-Restricted)
Así fue la jugada en que expulsaron a @Torres, ¿te parece justa la segunda amarilla? #ChampionsEnFD #FCBAtleti #UCL https://t.co/9ALjF0NWF2

Here's how fans reacted to his reckless display after scoring a goal.
I'd say Torres got a game's worth of work in in those 35 minutes.
