Barcelona star Neymar is set to miss the trip to the Ipurua on Sunday after picking up his fifth yellow card in Barca’s 5-1 over Rayo Vallecano. The suspension should give him time to rest for a week before their next La Liga fixture against Getafe at the Nou Camp on Saturday.
Coincidentally, last season, the 23-year-old also picked up his fifth red card on the same weekend as today’s fixture, and opted to travel to Brazil to celebrate his sister’s birthday.

Interestingly, the Catalan giants will not be playing at the middle of the week for the first time this year. Therefore, Luis Enrique could decide to give his players time to rest after a busy schedule. Given the fact that they are on a 35 match unbeaten run, they could take some time off to cool their legs before playing Getafe next Saturday in La Liga, and Arsenal four days later in the Champions League.
