Having finally clawed their way to the top of the Serie A table by winning 15 games on the trot, Juventus will be keen on making sure they stay ahead of the chasing pack with a positive result against Inter today. Juventus
Juventus will be coming into this match full of confidence after their mid-week Champions League tie against Bayern Munich. At one point, it looked like die Roten were going to enjoy a repeat of the 2012/2013 UCL quarter-finals, in which they defeated the Bianconeri both home and away to progress 4-0 on aggregate after Pep Guardiola's men had raced into a 2-0 lead.

The hosts saw their 15-match winning streak snapped when they were held to a 0-0 draw against Bologna last Friday, but as Napoli were unable to find a way past AC Milan, Juve's lead is still intact at the top of the table. They will be keen on giving themselves a bit more breathing room ahead of Monday's clash between the Partenopei and Fiorentina by defeating Inter at Juventus Stadum later today. And given their excellent showings at home, coupled with the poor form of the Nerazzurri, fans will be expecting to see the Bianconeri take all three points in the first of two Derby d'Italia clashes taking place over the next couple of days.
Inter
After a good 2015, 2016 has not been so kind to Roberto Mancini's men. Although the Nerazzurri will be arriving in Turin having won their last league fixture against Sampdoria, they have won just four matches in 2016. In addition, they are 3-0 down in the first leg of their Coppa Italia semi-final against Juventus and having slipped into fifth in the league, things are not looking good for the Milan giants to clinch any silverware this season.
Moreover, Inter have not won in Turin since November 2012, and their once-strong back-line has faltered time and time again. To make things worse, their attack, which has scored just 34 goals, will be coming up against a defense that has conceded a measly 15 goals and is anchored by Gianluigi Buffon, whose eight clean sheets so far in 2016 are the most out of any keeper in any of Europe's top five leagues.
