The Bayern Munich duo of Arjen Robben and Robert Lewandowski has claimed that they are not concerned about facing their former teammate Mario Mandzukic, who now plays for Bayern’s Tuesday opponents Juventus. The former Wolfsburg man joined the Bundesliga defending champions on June 26, 2016, and scored on his debut one month later during a friendly match against Chinese Super League club Beijin Guoan.
Before leaving the Bavarians to join Atletico Madrid in 2014, he had scored 33 goals in 54 appearances and won the Bundesliga title, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, DFB Pokal and the FIFA Club World Cup. The well-travelled player passed a late fitness test and could start against Pep Guardiola’s men at the Juventus Stadium in Turin.
