The German striker led the Bavarians' reaction by scoring a brace, prior to their Champions League match against Juventus next week.

Bayern Munich may not have had a magnificent match, but they had a magnificent striker to lead the way.

Thomas Müller proved to be key for Die Roten as he directed the team's comeback win against Darmstadt at Allianz Arena. After a first-half goal by Sandro Wagner, the German international scored the equalizer just three minutes after the second half began, making way for Bayern's dominant style of play. But just as the best magicians in the world, Müller saved his best act for later.

With the game getting close to its conclusion, Müller took advantage of a cross by Arturo Vidal, and as he controlled the ball with his chest, the striker treated fans with an overhead kick that won't be forgotten easily.

Later, a tap in by Robert Lewandowski sealed the deal for Guardiola's team, who will be facing a much tougher challenge next week, as the Bavarians travel to meet Juventus to sort out who makes it to the UEFA Champions League Quarter finals.
