Sources in Spain claim that the atmosphere between the coach and the team's execs has deteriorated up to the point where the tactician's job could be at stake.

Things are not going well for Pep Guardiola away from the pitch since Manchester City revealed he will be coaching them next season. According to a report by the Daily Express, the Spanish tactician is not enjoying his final months as Bayern Munich, and he could very well end up sacked if the Bavarians can't defeat Juventus in their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 matchup.

The Daily Express reports that Karl Heinz Rummenigge and Matthias Sammer, two of Bayern's prominent execs, believe that Guardiola will not keep focused until the end of the season due to his already revealed deal with Manchester City.

Bayern has a comfortable lead in the domestic tournament, but both Sammer and Rummenigge want Die Roten to win the UEFA Champions League, a tournament that will receive top priority from now on. If Guardiola can't find a way to end Juventus' unbeaten run, then the former Blaugrana boss could be out of a job before the end of the season.

Added to the tension with his employers, Guardiola's relationship with his players seems to have hit an all-time low, after the Catalan coach sent an "explosive" email to the squad back in January, demanding a more professional attitude when handling their days off.
