Robert Lewandowski has steered Bayern Munich eight points clear at the top of the Bundesliga table.

German giants Bayern Munich cruised past Hoffenheim thanks to a brace from the lethal Robert Lewandowski. Bayern’s win now puts them eight-points clear of second-placed Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga table. 

The Poland international has now scored 19 goals for the Bavarians to mark their sixth successive win in all competitions. Lewandowski, Thomas Muller and Xabi Alonso all lost numerous chances to increase the goal tally for the Bundesliga defending champions.
