As the January transfer window is about to close, big clubs are actively looking at options to sign their targets. FC Barcelona eye 'the next Messi' while Mario Balotelli could make a Premier League return.

Rumor has it that FC Barcelona are preparing for the next generation of world football and the player around which their future team could be built is from Argentina. His name? Paulo Dybala.

The 22-year-old forward is performing wonders at Juventus under the number 21 jersey, previously carried by Andrea Pirlo. He has already netted 14 goals in 29 appearances this season, 8 in his last 10 games for the Old Lady.

"I'd love to play with Messi," Dybala was recently quoted as saying.

Now transfer reports claim that Juve's €32 million summer signing is hot on the radar of Barcelona and the Catalans are planning to splash up to €100M to sign him!

However, Paulo Dybala is not the Blaugrana's only transfer target. Celta Vigo's Nolito is reportedly on his way to Camp Nou after agreeing personal terms with the Catalans. The last piece of the puzzle to complete the move would be the approval of Carlos Mourino, Celta's president.

In other news, West Ham are eyeing a deal for AC Milan's Mario Balotelli. More details in the latest Transfer Talk video of our partners at Football Daily:
