Manchester City will host Crystal Palace at the Etihad on Saturday, the 16th of January in a Premier League encounter. Check the live TV and online streaming broadcast listings for Man City vs Crystal Palace.

The Citizens were held to a goal-less draw by a resilient Everton side as Man City failed to take advantage of league leaders Arsenal dropping points. City had a penalty denied in the dying moments after Raheem Sterling appeared to be fouled by John Stones.

Sergio Aguero on the other hand also had two penalty appeals turned down whereas Tim Howard's heroics in goal ensured that the match finished a goalless draw. The Citizens are now third in the league table three points behind leaders Arsenal and defender Martin Demichelis has claimed that he expects his side to leapfrog the Gunners in the coming weeks.

"I think it was important Arsenal didn't win and we are just three points behind the leaders. We must continue the fight until the end and we have a lot of games to recover three points, but we need as soon as possible to win," Demichelis said.

"Arsenal have a game at Stoke [on Sunday] -- it is a difficult game -- so we have a chance to recover these three points. If we continue playing like in the second half [against Everton] I think we will win the next game and then the next."

The Argentinean was however pleased with his side's defensive display as City managed to keep a clean sheet  for the second game in a row.

"I think we tried everything to win the match but the goalkeeper for Everton and their complete team defended really well," he added.

"We tried everything to win three points, so we are unhappy we didn't win, but the positive was we did not concede any goal. I think we are in a good way and we must continue playing [as we did] in the second half."
Crystal Palace on the other hand find themselves in a comfortable position and are currently eighth in the league table. They however have been inconsistent as of late having recorded just a single victory in their last five matches in all competitions.

Alan Pardew will be unable to field either of Yannick Bolasie or Dwight Gayle who will both remain on the sidelines.

For City the likes of Eliaquim Mangala, Wilfried Bony and Fernandinho are doubtful for the match and will be assessed prior to the match.
