The Spanish center back has been involved in a number of controversies regarding Los Blancos recently, and fans will try to let him know how they feel about it.

Months after mocking Real Madrid's fans during Barcelona's treble celebrations, Los Blancos' supporters are preparing to get even with Gerard Piqué.

Known for his "anti-Madrid" remarks throughout his career, fans seem to have had it with the Spanish defender, and reports claim they are preparing their throats to taunt him for his words against the Spanish capital giants, according to a Catalan newspaper.

"Real Madrid fans are preparing a special welcome for Piqué. Many of them have started to talk about it on social networks and it will be similar to the day that Luis Figo played at Camp Nou in a Real Madrid shirt," the source claimed.

During Luis Figo's first visit to Camp Nou with Los Blancos, fans threw a hogshead at Figo, as he prepared to take a corner kick.

The Spanish International has never hidden his hate against Real Madrid, being quite active on the matter during the past few months.

During Barcelona's celebrations last June, the player took the microphone and thanked the team's board, medical staff, coaching staff and his team-mates. Finally, he thanked singer Kevin Roldán, who was in charge of the entertainment at Cristiano Ronaldo's 30th birthday party, which was celebrated after a 4-0 thrashing against Atletico. Real Madrid was never able to recover the top spot of La Liga since then, giving Los Blaugranas the title.

Fans have made a habit out of booing Gerard Piqué wherever he goes, whether he plays for the National Team or with Los Blaugranas. His political ideas about Catalunya have not helped the public's perception about him, and maybe it will be time for him to answer for them.

Nevertheless, La Liga officers have stated Real Madrid could be fined if their supporters "cross the line" against any of Barcelona's players.
