The Costa Rican goalkeeper missed Real Madrid's two most recent La Liga games, where he has only allowed three goals in nine matches.

Good news for Real Madrid fans ahead of their crucial matchup against Barcelona. After missing the two most recent La Liga games with Los Blancos, Costa Rican shot-stopper Keylor Navas participated in today's training session with the team, increasing his chances of making the Starting XI for El Clásico this Saturday.

The 28-year-old footballer was not available for Real Madrid's games against Las Palmas and Sevilla, being replaced by former Espanyol goalie Kiko Casilla. Although the Spanish shot-stopper had a field day facing the recently promoted team, his performance against Sevilla was not as satisfying, leading to Madrid's first loss of the season.

Navas has only conceded three goals in nine La Liga games, adding four clean sheets in as many UEFA Champions League outings with the Spanish giants.

How does Keylor compare to Barcelona's shot-stopper, Claudio Bravo?

His return to Real Madrid's training grounds was cause for celebration, with the team's Twitter feed revealing the news to its supporters.

"We keep working for El Clásico, and we have good news. @NavasKeylor is working with the rest of the team."
