The Spanish midfielder believes Jose Mourinho can turn this around, even if some sources indicate the manager will not end the season with the Blues.

Following the worst start for a defending champion in the history of the Premier League, midfielder Cesc Fabregas looked back at what has gone wrong for the Blues. According to the former Arsenal and Barcelona midfielder, the team seems to be working properly, but their luck seems to have run out when they needed it the most.

"This season is being fu***d. The results have not done justice to what we do on the pitch. We are doing things better, but we’ve had no luck. We have to start winning now," Fabregas told a Spanish newspaper.

The talented midfielder, who was key to the Blues' successful 2014-2015 season, even stated that his current form has kept him awake at nights, making it hard for him to enjoy himself around his loved ones.

"Football is my life. It is everything to me. My family keep me happy sometimes but when football does not go well, my life is not happy. You have your own thoughts and the manager will have his thoughts about what is going on and it is all about talking about things and putting this right all together," the Spaniard revealed.

Recently, reports indicated that Fabregas was the mastermind behind a mutiny inside the team's locker room to watch Mourinho getting fired. The player denied such claims by backing his coach once more.

"I cannot support him even more than I am doing,” said Fabregas. “I am always saying he deserves it, 100 per cent.We want the club to be at the top and, someone like Mourinho who is having difficult times and the players, then you have to support each other and give your best," Fabregas added.

Mourinho signed Fabregas away from Barcelona last season, but the Spaniard has failed to produce this year.

Fabregas was one of the most influential players during last year's EPL and Capital One Cup titles for Chelsea, but his form this year hasn't been nowhere near what he showed during his first season with the Blues. Out of the five offensive categories the EPL kept stats for, Fabregas dominated three of them.

The Blues' will try to start turning things around this Saturday when they host Norwich City. Unfortunately for them, their form at Stamford Bridge this season has been rather disappointing, losing three out of their six home games.
