The tables were turned, with the Argentine icon looking to copy the Barca superstar this time around.

With Diego Maradona being the first of two iconic Argentine superstars whose last name begins with the letter “M”, it is usually Lionel Messi who emulates his 55-year-old predecessor.

From Diego’s brilliant solo goal against England in the 1986 World Cup, which Leo all but copied against Getafe in 2007, to the four-time Ballon d’Or winners’ handball goal vs Espanyol similar to Maradona’s Hand of God; the resemblance between the two is there.

However, the tables have been turned this time around, with the World Cup winner now trying to follow an act which the Blaugrana ace made famous.

With La Pulga in Spain, training hard to be fit in time for El Clasico on November 21, the 28-year-old was caught on camera juggling an orange a few days back, a video which immediately went viral.

Maradona, who was on stage and in front of a live crowd, decided to give Messi’s orange keepy-ups move a go, proving that when it comes down to him and Messi, Maradona is still the master and that Leo remains the pupil.

Whilst the four-time Ballon d’Or winner only managed 9 juggles before yielding, Diego continued until he reached 20 touches, all whilst wearing a suit and tie.
