The Portuguese ace revealed the legendary Raul, currently with Cosmos FC, has already contacted him to celebrate his achievement.

Real Madrid's not used to celebrate individual accomplishments, but this time, Florentino Pérez and Co. have decided to pamper one of the team's symbols after breaking the club's records.

The team will host a ceremony to celebrate Cristiano Ronaldo's 323 goals with the club, which make him the joint all-time top scorer for Los Blancos, alongside Raúl González. With a number of details yet to be revealed, CR7 will be shown some of his greatest moments with Los Merengues since he signed in 2009. Jorge Mendes, the player's agent, and members of his family will be present in the ceremony, which will be held in the club's box at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

Sources have indicated that CR7 will also be given a present, but that has not been disclosed.

The player celebrates his 500th goal as a professional, scored on Wednesday against Malmö.

"Raúl sent me a text to congratulate me for tying his record"-- Cristiano Ronaldo

Once he managed to equalize Raul's goal scoring total, the Portuguese superstar revealed that Real Madrid's legendary striker got in touch with him to celebrate his antics.

"Raúl sent me a text, he told me he expected me to score 300 more goals. I know he means it, he's a class act and I know he's telling me that from the bottom of his heart. I never thought about breaking this record, I'm truly happy I did it," CR7 stated after the game.

The ceremony will be held after the team ends their training session prior to Sunday's game against Atletico, where Los Blancos will try to avenge the 4-0 score Simeone's crew handed to them last season.
