During the first UCL game for Manchester United, Luke Shaw had to leave the pitch following a harsh tackle by Mexican defender Hector Moreno. Shaw's absence will hand a big blow for United's defense, since his performance so far this season was being superb.
Shaw dribbled past a couple of PSV's players, but Moreno got in the way of the English defender, hitting the ball but also the player. Moreno instantly knew something was wrong, since he has just recovered from a similar injury he picked up during the 2014 World Cup with El Tri.

Even coach Louis Van Gaal got near his player to wish him well.

Nevertheless, the English defender seems to be ok. Just after a few moments, Shaw thanked his fans via his Twitter. He even had the time to thank his former club Southampton, soon after the club wished him a speedy recovery.
@SouthamptonFC thank you , you don't know how much you as a club mean to me , thank you so much I really appreciate it
