La Pulga scored it against Bayern Munich in the semi-finals. Most remember it due to the fact that Jerome Boateng going to the ground.

Lionel Messi is already making headlines this Champions League season and he has not even played one minute yet. This is due to the fact that La Pulga won the "Goal of the Season" award for one of his goals against Bayern Munich in the UCL semi-finals last season.

It was his second goal of the night but the best one of all. After a pass from Ivan Rakitic, La Pulga took full control of the ball and did his magic. He left defenders scrambling to stop him and Jerome Boateng could not even stay on his feet, hitting the ground and La Pulga went around him to score by chipping the ball over Manuel Neuer.

That game ended with a 3-0 scoreline giving Barcelona more than half a ticket to the Champions League final in Berlin. The second leg was played at the Allianz Arena and Bayern won 3-2 but the aggregate gave Los Cules a 5-3 lead and opened their way to conquer Berlin.

By the end of the season, Leo Messi scored ten goals in the Champions League. While he came second to Cristiano Ronaldo in La Liga for goals scored, in the European competition things were a bit different. Ronaldo, Messi and Neymar finished with a triple tie at the top of the goal scoring list.
