The Swedish striker stopped all the rumors that placed him away from Les Parisiens, by stating PSG now has the team to challenge Europe's finest teams.

Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic decided to put an end to all the controversy surrounding his future, by forcefully stating he will not leave the French champions this summer. After being linked to a move to the MLS or to join Serie A's AC Milan, "Ibra" revealed the reasons why he will live up to his contract with Les Parisiens, which expires by the end of the season.

"I'm happy where I am, I have another year to play in PSG, another year on my contract. I'm playing with great players, the club is growing, have big ambitions, willing to do everything to be the best and I'm enjoying (it). I'm a PSG player," Ibrahimovic assured.

The 33-year old stated in an interview he believes the team has what it takes to win the UEFA Champions League this year, a trophy which he has never won. The big Swede added that his side has learned from their mistakes in order to challenge teams such as Barcelona and Real Madrid for the title.

"For me the Champions League, it's about small details. The small details make a difference, we have the team with a possibility to go all the way, but it's not easy. We will be there and we will give a hard time for all the other teams, that's for sure," Zlatan added.

Ibrahimovic's PSG will play against Ajaccio this Sunday, in what could mark his debut in the current season after missing the team's first game. Angel Di Maria might also play his first game with Les Parisiens, after completing his move from Manchester United.
