There is no doubt that fans love to meet their idols. Some of them like to take their game to the next level to even impress those who impress them on the field. But calling yourself like your idol and spending hundreds of pounds trying to be part of your idol's life is something you don't hear or see so often.
A 17-year-old boy from Denmark is definitely in love with Cristiano Ronaldo and he is not afraid to admit it. Shanta sees the Portuguese striker as a role model, an idol, a great soccer player and an amazing human being that he has already had the chance to meet.
He has made trips to Valdebebas frequently

Shanta is known in his family as Cristiano Ronaldo. On twitter, he goes by Shanta Ronaldo. Only this year, Shanta has taken five trips to Madrid with the sole purpose of meeting with CR7. He has stood outside of Valdebebas from 9 am to 2 pm just to see him.
"Now, he knows me it means every time I go to Madrid I can meet him, which I am so proud of," Shanta, I mean Cristiano said. "He's not just my passion, but he motivates me."

The young fan embraces every part of Ronaldo's personality and does not seem to observe any flaw in his idol. Those that surround Shanta on a daily basis, don't criticize him for doing so, and that is something that he is grateful for.
"They know my passion and respect it. Some may think I'm crazy, but that's the way I am. People tell me, 'be yourself' but I cannot be myself more than I am now."
The Danish kid is willing to do anything possible to be more like CR7. He may still be far away from owning a private jet, or buying his friends a Greek island, but he does everything within his reach.
