Cristiano Ronaldo was named as the Man of the Match. There were over 99,000 fans in attendance for the game in Melbourne.

The 2015 International Champions Cup Australia edition is over and Real Madrid is the winner after beating Manchester City 4-1 at Melbourne in front of 99,382 fans. Cristiano Ronaldo was named the Man of the Match after the game. The Portuguese striker scored Madrid's second goal of the game and his first of the pre-season.

Los Merengues had the pressure of performing well after losing to AS Roma in their tournament presentation. Rafa's capability to coach a team like Real Madrid was questioned and many players did not seem too focused during training. Fortunately for him and for the fans, his team responded with a strong showing on Friday.

Karim Benzema opened the scoreboard  21 minutes into the game with a superb volley after a cross from Gareth Bale. Ronaldo's goal followed a great deep pass by Toni Kroos. Before halftime, Pepe scored the third for his team and Yaya Touré got his penalty kick just minutes later. Denis Cheryschev was the one to seal the deal for Los Merengues with Madrid's fourth goal and his first one with the team.

Joe Hart had been the figure of Manchester City's first game against AS Roma, but couldn't save his team from Real Madrid's offensive power. All four of Madrid's shots on target ended in the back of the net. The team also had slightly better possession than their opponent (53%-47%).

Many fans had lost hope on their team after the first game of the International Champions Cup. Now that they have seen Madrid win and play much better than how they did against AS Roma, the comments about the team have changed.
