The right back signed a new deal with Los Blaugranas, while the Spanish coach ended all the rumors about his future by extending his contract for one more year.

After winning a second treble in the past six years, Barcelona wants to keep the good times coming. In order t achieve that, team President Josep Maria Bartomeu signed a contract extension with coach Luis Enrique Martinez, who had some doubts about his future with Los Blaugranas. Furthermore, Barça's main man also struck a new deal with Dani Alves, who was rumored to be leaving the club after the end of this season, but finally he decided to extend his contract with Los Culés.

The first one to sign his deal was Alves. The 32-year-old right back, who is the foreign footballer with the most games played for Barcelona in the team's history, signed a two-year contract with Los Blaugranas, ending all rumors about a possible exit from Camp Nou. Alves will be earning around 9 million euros per season, and his contract can be extended one more year before it expires. The player will be addressing the media tomorrow to share his thoughts about the new deal.

Finally, Luis Enrique ended all speculation about his future and extended his commitment with Los Blaugranas for one more season, added to the year he had with the club in the first place. This was the third signing for Bartomeu before his term as president ends, prior to becoming a candidate for another term as Barcelona's top executive. The coach, who shaved his head after winning the Champions League on Saturday evening, spoke to the media after signing his contract extension.

"We couldn't be happier. After ending the year in such a high note, we are looking to repeat all our victories next season. We are very excited about what will come next, and we will try to win it all once again," the coach added.

Added to La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the UEFA Champions League, Barcelona will try to win the UEFA Super Cup in August, the Spanish Super Cup, and the Club World Cup in December, with their sights set on repeating what they accomplished back in 2009, when Guardiola's team won it all.
