The club issued a press release denying any intention to acquire the player from Juventus, after several reports linking the team and the midfielder.

Even after all the rumors surrounding French midfielder Paul Pogba, one team took a stand and denied any interest in signing the player. Today, Real Madrid issued a press release where the club dismisses any rumors regarding an official offer to sign Pogba. In the statement, the club denies any contact with the player or his agent.

"Following the reports published in the Italian newspaper La Stampa concerning an alleged offer from Real Madrid for the player Paul Pogba, the club wishes to state the following: Real Madrid have had no contact either with Juventus or the player's agent and, as a consequence, the reports published in this newspaper are completely false," can be read in the press release.

Pogba's future has been linked to several top clubs in Europe as Manchester United, Barcelona or Manchester City. The player's agent, Mino Raiola, has repeatedly appeared on sports talk shows speaking about his client's future, but it all seems a bit blurry as weeks go by. The player has only spoken about remaining with Juventus, although other sources claim his future will be away from "La Vecchia Signora"

Pogba recently came back from an injury, and is expected to play a key role for Juventus in the UEFA Champions League final.
