The team celebrates every title in this historic place sine 1930. Barcelona will organize an even bigger celebration next week after the game.

The new champion of La Liga has been decided and Barcelona fans know it. As soon as the final whistle blew in el Vicente Calderon, thousands of Cules fans gathered in Fuente de Canaletas to celebrate the 23rd La Liga title the team has won since the competition was created. 

It is a tradition for Barcelona fans to gather in Canaletas since 1930. This is the equivalent to Real Madrid's celebrations in the Cibeles Fountain of the Spanish capital.

Despite there being over 12,000 people, there were no major incidents to report. Barcelona fans could also come back again here if the team ends up winning the Spanish Cup and the Champions League later this season. 

FC Barcelona is planning on continuing the celebration next week at the Camp Nou when the team plays their final game of the season against Deportivo La Coruña. Plans for a parade in the city have not been finalized, but it could happen next Monday, once La Liga is over.
