According to reports, the Spanish manager has agreed to coach a top English Premier League side next season, as rumors of an Allianz Arena exit increases.

It has been a rough couple of weeks for Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola. Despite strolling to a third-consecutive Bundesliga title, the Spaniard has seen his side slump to a four-game losing streak, which saw their hopes of winning the treble evaporate.

All initially began with their DFB-Pokal semi-final defeat to rival Borussia Dortmund, which was followed by a 2-0 loss to Bayer Leverkusen in the league. The Bavarians’ 3-0 Champions League thrashing then arrived before a shock 1-0 loss to Augsburg.

Amid this recent slip in form, rumors circulating have Guardiola linked with a Bayern Munich exit. According to the latest reports, the former Barcelona boss could walk away from the Allianz Arena in favor of a move to the English Premier League, despite there being one year remaining on his contract with the German side.

A move to mega-rich side Manchester City is heavily tipped as the likely outcome of Pep’s rumored Bayern exit, with BeIn Sports’ Arabic Twitter account tweeting, as written by the Manchester Evening News: "Urgent - sources beIN SPORTS: Manchester City reached a tentative agreement with Bayern Munich coach Guardiola to train the team for next season."

The Citizens, of course, have long been admirers of the 44-year-old, and were keen on landing his services when Guardiola came out of sabbatical. Now, however, with Manuel Pellegrini reportedly set to get the boot, City can reignite their interest and carry on in their attempts to lure Pep to the Etihad.
