Manuel Neuer was the only player from Bayern on the list. Juventus and Barcelona have five players each.

To add insult to injury for Real Madrid fans, the UEFA Champions League team of the week has been revealed and none of their players made the list. Lionel Messi's brace gave secured his a spot on the squad along with four of his teammates and five of Juventus players. Manuel Neuer's performance also earned him a spot.

Neuer kept a clean sheet going into halftime with some great saves. He was able to keep Messi and Barcelona scoreless for a total of 77 minutes. If it wasn't for Neuer, Los Cules could have easily scored another three goals, but the German keeper proved why he is one of the best ones in his position worldwide.

Chiellini ended with a banged head after crashing with Gareth Bale. His accuracy with passes and tackles was superb throughout the game.

The front three is full of South American players after all of them scored. Neymar gave Barcelona a 3-0 lead that pretty much sets them up for Berlin. Then Carlos Tevez from the penalty spot gave his team the one-goal advantage that La Juve has heading into Madrid next week.

The person that stole the show in the first-leg of the UCL semi-finals was Messi. La Pulga scored a brace and was finally able to get past Neuer after his unsuccessful attempts in the World Cup final. It took him 77 minutes to get his name on the scoreboard and in the lead of the goal-scoring list, both in the tournament and the history of the competition.
