Last week, the Portuguese striker used his social media accounts to ask for donations from his fans.

Once again, Cristiano Ronaldo shows the world he is not just as selfish as some people think. According to reports from Portuguese newspapers, Real Madrid's star donated seven million euros to help all those who were affected by the earthquake in Nepal.

On April 25th, an earthquake rated with a 7.8 intensity on the Richter scale shook the nation's capital Kathmandú, killing more than 7,500 people and leaving 14,000 wounded. The event's intensity was so hard that its effects were also felt in India and China, where 100 people died.

Three days after the event, and as the human casualties increased, Cristiano Ronaldo used his Twitter feed to ask his fans to help all those people that were left homeless or need medical relief.

This is not the first time the Portuguese superstar has contributed to a cause such as this. Last year, CR7 donated 1.5 million euros to help relief children affected by the Gaza Strip bombings, and he even gave a sick child's mom one pair of his shoes and a Real Madrid signed jersey in order to cover for the kid's treatment.
