The Spanish shot-stopper revealed he would love Real Madrid to be the first club to win back-to-back Champions League titles since the tournament changed its format in 1992.

Iker Casillas is clear about La Liga's title race: It would mean much more to him if Los Blancos can win the UEFA Champions League once again rather than snatching the title away from Barcelona. According to the shot-stopper, Real Madrid's fans would be OK with such a decision, since winning the European tournament is part of Los Blancos' DNA.

"The 'madridistas' are more into winning the Champions League. If I had to make a choice between winning the league and the Champions League, I would choose the latter, since we depend entirely on what we do to win it. I believe that no one has been able to win back-to-back Champions League trophies, and it would be an exciting challenge to take. Winning La Liga is also a great task, but if I had to choose, I would choose the Champions League,"Casillas revealed.

The Spanish goalkeeper also referred to the team's chances of winning the coveted European tournament against three heavyweights like Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Juventus, ellaborating about how hard it will be to eliminate "La Vecchia Signora".

"Each team has a 25 percent chance of winning the trophy. We will face players like Buffon and Pirlo, two of the most important players of the Italian National Team. Each time we play against them is special, we've had our times of joy and sadness, and what's really great about this matchup is that you will have two teams with top players, with each side defending their style. I believe these games will be really exciting to watch," the Spanish goalkeeper added.

Real Madrid will play the first leg against Juventus on May 5th, while hosting the second leg at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium on May 13th.
