How should Mourinho approach Wednesday's battle against PSG in order to win a spot among Europe's top eight teams? Here are some pointers the Blues should follow in order to oust Les Parisiens.

With an eight-match unbeaten run in all competitions, Chelsea will host Paris Saint-Germain with only one thought on their minds: making it through to the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals. Considering this will not be an easy task for Mourinho's men since some of PSG's players know how Mou likes to approach these kind of games, the Portuguese manager may be thinking about the best options to cancel the visitor's chances of defeating them, while squeezing the last drop of talent out of his players. With the possibility of a new treble for him, Mourinho might end up shaping his Starting XI as follows:

1. Azpilicueta should take left back duties, while Ivanovic gets a grip of his game

Considering Filipe Luis is one yellow card short of being banned, Cesar Azpilicueta is set to make another start for Mourinho's men in a do-or-die match. Azpilicueta was key for Mourinho during the team's Capital One Cup victory over Tottenham, and he should be considered as the man for the job. On the other hand, despite Ivanovic is also one yellow card away of missing the next game due to a ban, Mou can't afford to miss this player's contribution on both ends of the pitch. The rest of the Blues' defense should be integrated by John Terry, Gary Cahill and Belgian shot-stopper Thibaut Courtois, who proved to be quite reliable during the first leg of this series.

2. Fabregas, Ramires and Matic fighting to recover the ball?

With the Serbian's presence questionable after injuring himself while celebrating the team's victory over Tottenham, Mou may need Cesc Fabregas to play a role he used to perform with Barcelona: defensive midfield. The Catalunyan player is no stranger to such duties, and his creativity could be well used by Mou just a couple of steps behind Hazard to chip in with those through balls that seem to work so fine this year. If Matic is available, he should be starting alongside Ramires, while Cesc takes his usual duties. It will be crucial for Mourinho to have Matic on the pitch, since the team has struggled considerably when the Serbian is out of commission.

3. Hazard, Willian and Costa creating havoc upfront

Oscar has not enjoyed the best of seasons so far, and Mourinho has made it abundantly clear that no one if above the team when they are underperforming. Considering his recent outings, Oscar is set to leave his place for Willian, while Eden Hazard takes his usual role on the left flank. Diego Costa will try to make an impression while playing at Stamford Bridge, since his Champions League performance with the Blues has been far from impressive.

Can Mourinho and his men make it to the next round once more against the same opponent as last year? The answer will be known in 90 more minutes.
