Guardiola's men gave fans an amazing performance with braces by Robben, Müller and Gotze, while Lewandowski and Ribery rounded up the historic result.

Bayern Munich seems to have recovered their 2014 form just when they needed it the most. After starting this year with two consecutive games without a victory, Guardiola's men managed to score eight goals against Hamburger for the first time in Bundesliga's history. Even though Bayern's players fell short of tying the club record of nine goals against today's opponents, this is the greatest goal difference they've accomplished while playing against Josef Zinnbauer's men.

Bayern's night started with a penalty kick transformed by Thomas Müller after 21 minutes, just to be followed by Mario Gotze's strike two minutes later. But the first half had a gem in store for the Bavarian fanbase, who praised Arjen Robben after a magnificent outside-the-box beauty.

After the break, Bayern attacked relentlessly to score five times in 45 minutes. With only two minutes into the second half, Robben netted the ball once again after dribbling past three players just to finish with absolute class. Thomas Müller made it 5-0 after putting to good use an assist by Bastian Schweinsteiger. The German striker celebrated in quite a curious fashion.

After Robert Lewandowski scored the sixth goal thanks to a pass by Müller, Franck Ribery added his name to the score sheet after recovering from a thigh injury. The French wingman had just entered the pitch, taking Mehdi Benatia's place.

Finally, Mario Götze scored the eighth goal of the day curling his right-footed strike past Jaroslav Drobny. How did fans react to their team's astonishing performance? Have a look below!
