The six-year-old also wanted Diego Costa to come along.

A 6-year-old Aston Villa fan is not pleased with seeing his team in the relegation zone and took matters into his own hands. Jude Branson asked Jose Mourinho to leave Chelsea and save Villa from disaster.

“I am 6 years old and I support Aston Villa. You are my favourite manager,” Branson wrote. "Please could you manage Villa and bring Costa with you? We need help.”

Chelsea is seven points clear of Manchester City at the top of the table. Aston Villa is only five points ahead of Leicester City (17) which ranks last after 25 games.

While it may come as no surprise what the Special One answered, it is not a usual thing for him to take some time to answer fan mail. Branson and his parents appreciated that gesture.

The six-year-old took action to try and save his team

"It'll be framed and put on his bedroom wall. It's good to know that his letter was read and maybe even planted the seed in his head,” Jude’s father Phil said about the signed picture he received in the mail.

Just over 24 hours after the letter reached Mourinho’s desk, Villa fired Paul Lambert. That opened what could have been Mou's new job if Branson convinced him.

Apparently, things did not work out the way the young Villa fan would have wanted. At least he let the world know he was willing to do his part to help save his team.
