With goals by Eden Hazard and Branislav Ivanovic, Chelsea managed to overcome Aston Villa's first goal since December 20 to extend their lead in the Premier League's title race.
Things were not looking good for the home side after Eden Hazard's goal with just eight minutes of playing time. The Blues even had the chance to increase their lead after a couple of saves by their very own Thibaut Courtois, but the score did not change before halftime.
The Villains looked determined to end their goalscoring draught, which extended over 660 minutes. When the clock hit the 48th minute mark, Jores Okore scored for Aston Villa, making their fans go crazy over their first goal after eleven hours of playing time.
