The Spanish goalkeeper also supported Cristiano Ronaldo's chances of winning the Ballon D'Or on Monday.

Iker Casillas discussed a variety of topics during an interview with a Spanish radio show. The international goalkeeper talked about Xabi Alonso, Jose Mourinho, how he endured his stint as a substitute and his future with the National Team. Regarding his former coach, Casillas revealed the team's locker room was not satisfied with Mou's style, hinting the team likes better their current coach, Carlo Ancelotti.

"Ancelotti is a better coach than Mourinho. I believe we lived hard times while he was here, but we have to thank him for the titles we won. If we play against Chelsea, I wouldn't mind saying hello to him, but it's up to Mou to respond. As far as I'm concerned, Ancelotti handles better the locker room, since he was a player and he knows how you can answer to certain aspects of the game," Casillas stated.

After Xabi Alonso's comments comparing him to Manuel Neuer, Madrid's shot-stopper told the show his relationship with Bayern's midfielder has changed over time, but refused to compare him to his now teammate Toni Kroos.

"I don't care about what Xabi thinks . We had some good years together, but our relationship is not the same as it was before. He believes in some things that I usually don't agree with, but the main thing was to work as a team to win titles. I could not compare him to Toni (Kroos) because both of them have been helpful for the team. As far as I'm concerned, Xabi is a wonderful player and I would not compare him as he did," the Spaniard answered.

After several rumors that placed him away from his only professional club, Casillas admitted the thought about leaving crossed his mind when he was a sub.

"Yes, I thought about it. You think about the possible solutions to that kind of thing, and it doesn't matter how you end up feeling. It seemed like something was wrong with me after my hand was healed, it was really tough on me. I cried, I could not sleep, and things were said about me that really hurt. I was never the insider or a saint, I'm just Iker Casillas and I came here to work. Everything else was a lie," the goalie added.

Finally, Casillas revealed his time with La Roja is almost over, and he hopes to finish in style next year.

"I will leave once the Euro is over, I believe it will be the right time for me to step aside," he ended.
