The three South American players scored for the first time in the same game to lead Barcelona past Paris Saint Germain in Group F.

Despite conceding an early goal to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Barcelona managed to come back and outscore PSG with a 3-1 score. Los Blaugranas enjoyed the first game with goals by their MSN attack (Messi, Suarez, Neymar), and made it through to the Round of 16 stage in Group F.

Paris Saint Germain arrived to this match leading their Group, and needed to keep their unbeaten streak to cling to that spot. Zlatan Ibrahimovic's strike after fifteen minutes gave them some hope, but just four minutes later Lionel Messi equalized, being assisted by Suarez. Neymar scored one of the UCL's greatest goals so far at the 42nd minute mark, and when Les Parisiens were trying hard to even the score, Luis Suarez took advantage of a loose ball to bag three points for Luis Enrique's side.

This match marks the eighth season in a row Barcelona end up the group stage of the UEFA Champions League as group winners. Lionel Messi scored his 75th ever UCL goal, keeping his three goal lead against Cristiano Ronaldo. As for Luis Suarez, he has played in three UEFA Champions League games for los Blaugranas, being directly involved in three goals, scoring two and assisting in one more. Another milestone for Luis Enrique's team was reached by Xavi Hernandez, who played in his 152nd European cup match, breaking Ryan Giggs' record of 151.
