The Uruguayan striker shared this thoughts in his autobiography, where he also gave credit to Steven Gerrard on how to manage his future after playing with Liverpool.

Details from Luis Suarez's biography were revealed today. Some interesting issues revealed include the striker's opinion about his punishment for biting Giorgio Chiellini during the past World Cup, stating he felt "like a criminal" for all the controversy surrounding him.

"It was my fault. It's the third time I've done something like this, and it is pretty clear that I needed help, although I feel they made me an easy target. Biting scares a lot of people, but I think it's not as harmful as some other situations," Suarez stated.

The Uruguayan revealed also Steven Gerrard was key for him resolving his future, because he was ready to sign for Arsenal until Liverpool's captain gave him valuable advice.

"He told me to stay with Liverpool and do my best, and if I did that, it would just be a matter of time until Real Madrid, Barcelona or Bayern came looking for me. He told me I was talented enough to play anywhere I wanted, and I'm happy I listened to him, he knew what he was talking about," Suarez added.
