Despite cruising to a 6-0 win over their Slovenian opponents, Mourinho still found fault with his squad.

Although they cruised to a comfortable 6-0 win over Slovenian minnows Maribor, Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho still found fault with his side, namely Eden Hazard.

Despite the Belgian star grabbing himself a brace, the Portuguese tactician still wasn't impressed with some of his decision making during the rout of their opponents.

"I was very surprised that [Hazard let Drogba take the penalty]," he stated to reporters after the game.

Didier Drogba converted his penalty to score his first goal since returning to Stamford Bridge and put Chelsea 2-0 up

Hazard, who scored a brace, could have had a hat-trick had he not allowed his teammate to take the spot kick

"I was not particularly pleased, [as] Hazard is [the] first choice for penalties. But it was a goal [nonetheless] so I was happy about that."

Despite not being amused with the shuffle, Mourinho also went on to praise veteran attacker Drogba, who came on in the 16th minute after Loic Remy suffered a groin injury and despite his advancing years, remained on the pitch for the duration of the game.

"[To be honest] I was not expecting Didier to play 75 minutes. I spoke with him yesterday and we spoke about [playing for] 30. But, [due to] circumstances, he had to go on.

"[However], he was able to play [for] 75 minutes [comfortably]. It was very, very important for Didier [and] the best thing for a player to improve his condition is to play [as often as possible]."
