The Real Madrid attacker has been in great form this year, smashing records left and right with both his club and country, and now has moved into setting new ones off the pitch.

Regarded as one of the most marketable athletes on the planet, the current Ballon d'Or holder has now reached an unprecendented number of fans on social media, namely Facebook, where he has now surpassed 100,000,000 fans as of today.

As per marketing company Repucom, he averages one new follower each second and his popularity will certainly continue to grow as he keeps chasing more records this season.
