Russia vs Moldova will go live as the two sides seek qualification to the Euro 2016 on Sunday, the 12th of October.

Russia will be hoping to build upon their performance last time out when they registered a 1-1 draw against Sweden at the Friends Arena. Aleksandr Kokorin opened up the scoring for Russia in the 10th minute but his effort was equalized in the second half by Ola Toivonen who scored in the 49th minute to ensure that both sides shared a point each.

Despite a good showing by his side Russia's manager Fabio Capello was not completely convinced by the performance and insisted that his team should have won.

"When they play good, I am happy. When they make mistakes I am not happy," said Fabio Capello.

"I think we played really well tonight. The whole team was good, all the players performed well. We attacked, created more chances than the opponent, showed confidence and controlled the match even though we played away from home against the tough opposition."

"The movement was very good, we used the space, defended well, especially on the set pieces. All in all, I can be satisfied with our performance; we played good, but we probably should have won."

The Italian tactician fielded Aleksandr Kokorin and Artem Dzyuba in the same line-up for the first time in his career, a decision which paid dividends as both the men performed admirably in the match against Sweden.

Capello expressed his delight as to how both his star players performed and stressed that their performance on the night brought the best out of his team.

"Both Kokorin and Dzyuba were on top of their game today. I wanted them to move a lot, to exchange positions and they did that, helping the midfield a lot, taking their part in defending as well," said Capello.

Moldova on the other hand have lost all of their last four matches and will be hoping for a better result when they face Russia on Sunday. They were against Austria in their last outing a match they lost 2-1 as Alaba and Janko got themselves on the scoresheet.
