The retired French superstar began his stint as a coach with Real Madrid Castilla, but several of his colleagues complained when they found out he did not complete the coaching course.

Real Madrid Castilla will face a complicated situation in the upcoming months, since their coach Zinedine Zidane and his assistant, Santiago Sanchez, will be suspended for three months for coaching the team without the proper permits.

Zidane assisted Real Madrid's coaches Jose Mourinho and Carlo Ancelotti in the past years, taking the job as head coach for Castilla this season. The issue with "Zizou" coaching the club rised a few weeks ago, when one of the league's coaches pointed out that the French legend did not complete his course as head coach, making him not eligible to perform such a task. Furthermore, Santiago Sanchez accepted to loan his papers so Zidane could manage the team, that's why he will be punished as well.

During this investigation, the Spanish Coach Committee showed proof that Zidane was indeed the coach, performing all the tasks a manager has. Added to that, Real Madrid's website referred to "Zizou" previously as the head coach, while in the match reports he was presented as the assistant.

On the same matter, Zidane's wage is way higher than that of Sanchez, leaving no doubt that the French is in fact responsible for Castilla's tactics.

Real Madrid may appeal the decision, which will be announced the next week.
