Japanese attacker Keisuke Honda was also on the score sheet, netting a sublime free-kick in the second half as the Rossoneri won on Saturday

Serie A heavyweights AC Milan returned to winning ways when they welcomed Chievo Verona to the San Siro, coming out of Matchday 6's encounter with a 2-0 victory.

Felippo Inzaghi's side failed to register a win in their last two fixtures, but clinched victory on Saturday thanks to goals from Ghanaian midfielder Sulley Muntari and Japanese attacker Keisuke Honda.

The 30-year-old Black Stars ace opened the scoring for the Rossoneri in the 55th minute in style, releasing an unstoppable right-footed screamer past Francesco Bardi, which rocketed into the top left corner of the goal to give his side a 1-0 advantage.
