Despite missing an incredible opportunity yesterday against Bulgarian side Ludogorets, Javier Hernandez's abilities received recognition by La Liga's website. Today, the Mexican striker's goal against Deportivo la Coruña was named "Goal of the Month" in a short press release:
"The goal has a Mexican flavor to it, and it was the player’s first strike in Spanish football. Real Madrid’s new number 14, Javier 'Chicharito' Hernández, sent the ball flying past Germán Lux of Deportivo La Coruña to make it 2-7 to his side. It was a precious effort with his left foot, and has earned him the crown of the month’s best goal," can be read on the league's website.
Through their Twitter feed, La Liga praised the Mexican striker's goal, giving fans the chance to replay it one more time:

Hernandez scored one more time during Real Madrid's match against Deportivo, and has been constantly used as a substitute for Los Blancos.
